The preschool version assesses four emotions: happy, sad, angry and afraid (but you can assess more if you wish). The elementary version assesses 8 emotions: happy, sad, angry, afraid, bored, surprised, frustrated, and excited. This screener provides opportunities for the receptive portion of evaluating emotions (identification), the expressive portion of evaluating emotions, (labeling) and the demonstrative portion of evaluating emotions where the student shows the emotion on their faces.
